MoodShift
MoodShift is a cozy endless runner about feelings. A brave white bunny races across floating ruins above the clouds, and every obstacle calls for a different emotion.
đź’› JOY lets the bunny float and glide over gaps and the Fantasy Hedgehog.
❤️ RAGE gives it the strength to smash breakable walls and rolling Stone Guardians.
đź’ś FEAR makes it duck low and slide under passages and diving Flying Spirits.
Switch at the right moment to earn PERFECT, build FLOW, collect stars, and see how far you can run as the world shifts through the Verdant, Sunlit, Moonlit and Frosted realms.

HOW DREAMLAYER WAS USED
DreamLayer was at the core of MoodShift’s visual workflow. I used it through Claude Code and the DreamLayer MCP, then cleaned, aligned and colour-graded assets locally where needed before integrating them into Unity.

One bunny, many moods. Starting from one approved DreamLayer master bunny, the Joy, Rage, Fear, Hurt and Victory poses were generated with image-to-image while preserving the same character identity.
Animation with DreamLayer. DreamLayer sprite sheets were used for animation: the Rage face heat-up when you press S, and the main-menu bunny’s idle.
From references to enemies. Our own visual references were developed into the Stone Guardian, Flying Spirit and Fantasy Hedgehog, with additional gameplay poses (roll, lunge, hurt, dive, walk) generated from each enemy’s master.
One world, four moods. The same floating-ruins world was developed into Verdant, Sunlit, Moonlit and Frosted variations, with local grading and cleanup where necessary to keep gameplay readable.
Items & HUD. Our star and heart references were restyled with DreamLayer using image-to-image and then prepared for use in-game.
WHAT WAS MADE OUTSIDE DREAMLAYER
- UI panels, buttons, HUD frames, How To Play and Run Over screens (made with other AI tools)
- Cover, banner, the Sunlit ground style sheet and the hedgehog pose guides (made with other AI tools, using our game art as reference)
- The bunny’s normal run animation (our own frames)
- Ground blends between worlds and colour-graded ground for the other worlds (made locally)
- Unity code, gameplay systems, particles and effects
- Music and sound effects from Pixabay
